You can rely on your independent facilitator to assist you in:

• ​Identifying and securing the appropriate services and assistance to support you in achieving your objectives, and requirements and developing unique solutions for you.
• Coordinating and managing your complete service and support infrastructure.
• Provide you with information on community resources and other possibilities.
• Advocating and making educated choices about your certified budget.
• Help  you keep track of your expenditures and make any required adjustments to your budget.
• Participate, lead, and advocate for you throughout your yearly IPP’s person-centered planning and certified budget.
• Communicate you about directives and changes in the Self Deterination Program that could benefit your certified budget.
• Assist you in achieving your unique objectives.
• Assist you through out the year with the Financial Management Service.
• Coach you in successfully  accessing generic resources like health insurance, School District, Department of Rehab (DOR),  and In Home Supportive Services (IHSS).
• Assist you in revising and updating the spending plan through out the year.
